· Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring a team of purchasing professionals.

· Strategic Sourcing: Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.

· Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, and managing supplier relationships.

· Contract Negotiation: Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.

· Budget Management: Managing purchasing budgets and ensuring cost-effective procurement.

· Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock of materials and supplies.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with other departments (engineering, manufacturing, etc.) to understand procurement needs.

· Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

· Performance Monitoring: Evaluating supplier performance and identifying areas for improvement.
