About the Role
Professor Academy is looking for a skilled Tamil Translator to translate academic and educational content from English to Tamil with high linguistic accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate should have strong Tamil language proficiency, excellent writing skills, and the ability to use AI-assisted translation tools effectively while maintaining quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate educational and academic content from English to Tamil.
- Ensure translations are accurate, grammatically correct, and culturally appropriate.
- Review, edit, and proofread translated content for quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and the editorial team.
- Use AI-assisted translation tools to improve productivity while ensuring human-quality output.
- Meet assigned deadlines without compromising quality.
Eligibility
- Master's degree (M.Ed. preferred).
- Excellent command of both Tamil and English.
- Strong Tamil writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience in educational content translation is preferred.
- Knowledge of AI translation tools (such as ChatGPT or similar tools) will be an added advantage.
- UGC NET/TNSET qualification or aspirants are preferred.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work with academic content.

- Strong understanding of educational terminology.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Docs, AI tools).
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
