- Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure mechanical, electrical, fabrication, and project-related materials as per approved requirements.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and conduct comparative analysis.
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up for order acknowledgements.
- Coordinate with Design, Projects, Production, Stores, and Accounts departments for procurement requirements.
- Monitor material delivery schedules and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost parameters.
- Resolve supply-related issues and ensure uninterrupted project execution.
- Maintain procurement records, purchase reports, and vendor databases.
- Coordinate with stores for material receipt and verification.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Support cost reduction initiatives through effective sourcing and negotiation.
- Required Qualifications
- Any Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management,



Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase or Procurement within EPC, Engineering, Manufacturing, Fabrication, or Industrial Projects.
- Knowledge of industrial raw materials, fabrication items, mechanical components, and bought-out items.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP software., Tally, Zoho.
