Job Summary

Chemprocess Solutions is hiring Solar Technicians to install, operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in solar installations, electrical wiring, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of solar plants.
- Inspect solar panels, inverters, junction boxes, cables, and mounting structures.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
- Perform DC and AC wiring, cable termination, and continuity testing.
- Monitor system performance and prepare maintenance reports.
- Replace faulty components such as modules, fuses, connectors, breakers, and inverters.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Maintain housekeeping and documentation at the project site.

Qualification

- ITI (Electrician/Wireman) / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or equivalent.
- Certification in Solar PV installation (preferred).

Experience





- 1–5 years of experience in installation and maintenance of rooftop or utility-scale solar power plants.
- Freshers with relevant training may also apply.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of Solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical panels.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLD).
- Familiarity with multimeters, insulation testers, clamp meters, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting of electrical faults.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

- Experience with MW-scale solar projects.
- Knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems.
- Valid driving license is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and work at various project sites.
