Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our luxury jewellery boutique located in Thakur Village, Kandivali East, Mumbai. The role involves managing all financial operations including billing, stock records, software entries, GST returns, tax compliance, customer and vendor payments, and coordination with the Chartered Accountant (CA). The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, be proficient with relevant software, and ensure accuracy in financial management while maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

* Billing & Documentation: Manage all billing processes, invoices, and filing of bills

* Stock & Software Management: Maintain accurate stock records and update accounting software regularly

* Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST returns, tax filings, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations

* Audit Support: Coordinate with Chartered Accountant (CA) for audits and financial reporting

* Payments Management:

◦ Manage customer payments and follow up on receivables

◦ Handle vendor payments, issue payment reminders, and ensure timely disbursements

* Account Reconciliation: Regularly tally accounts with vendors and customers to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies

* Financial Reporting:



Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and reports for management review

* Correspondence: Maintain communication with CA, vendors, and customers regarding accounts and compliance

* Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in accounting and financial processes

Qualifications & Skills:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field

* Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in retail, jewellery, or luxury segment)

* Positive command of English (spoken and written)

* Proficiency in accounting software (Tally or similar) and MS Office

* Strong analytical and numerical skills

* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

* Presentable and professional demeanor

Compensation :

* Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month + performance-based incentives
