Job Summary

An Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining automated systems and equipment used in manufacturing and industrial processes. The role involves improving productivity, reducing manual intervention, enhancing quality, and ensuring smooth operation of automation systems such as PLC, SCADA, HMI, robotics, sensors, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop automation systems for manufacturing processes.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, and robotic systems.
- Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of automation equipment.
- Analyze production processes and implement automation improvements.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams for process optimization.
- Monitor machine performance and reduce downtime.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and maintenance records.




- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industrial regulations.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Train operators and technicians on automated systems.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc.)
- Experience in SCADA and HMI systems.
- Understanding of industrial sensors, drives, motors, and control panels.
- Knowledge of robotics and industrial automation concepts.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- AutoCAD/Electrical drawing knowledge preferred.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
