Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D technical drawings, layouts, and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Develop engineering drawings based on inputs provided by design engineers.
- Revise and update drawings as per engineering comments and client feedback.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards, project specifications, and company drafting practices.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to clarify design requirements.
- Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM), general arrangement drawings, and detail drawings where applicable.
- Support project teams in meeting quality standards and project timelines.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all engineering deliverables.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline.




- 0–2 years of experience in engineering drafting (Freshers with robust CAD knowledge are encouraged to apply).
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
- Basic knowledge of engineering design principles.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of AutoCAD 3D is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with drafting standards, dimensioning, and drawing interpretation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to SolidWorks, Inventor, Revit, MicroStation, or other CAD software will be an advantage.
- Understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is desirable.
- Internship or academic project experience in engineering drafting is preferred.
