Job Description
A BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling processes across multidisciplinary teams to ensure productive project delivery.
The role includes developing and reviewing 3D BIM models for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines, ensuring compliance with standards, LOD requirements and clash-free coordination using tools like Navisworks.
Proficiency in Revit software is mandatory for model development, documentation, and coordination.
The coordinator also supports 4D BIM implementation for construction sequencing, with knowledge of 4D tools preferably BEXEL Manager.
Experience in Civil 3D is required for alignment and infrastructure modeling.
The role involves creating animations, walkthroughs and rendered visualizations for client presentations.
Additionally, developing automation using Dynamo and PyRevit to improve efficiency is key.
Managing data in CDE platforms (ACC/BIM 360), conducting model audits, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting team training and digital innovation initiatives are also essential responsibilities.
