Lab Assistant – Job Description / Responsibilities

- Assist instructors and students during laboratory practicals and experiments.
- Prepare laboratory equipment, tools, instruments, and materials before practical sessions.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment safely.
- Ensure proper storage and availability of tools, components, chemicals, or materials as applicable.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and discipline.
- Check equipment regularly and report faults or damaged instruments.
- Maintain records of laboratory inventory, equipment, and consumable materials.
- Support students in understanding the correct use of laboratory instruments and tools.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Coordinate with faculty/instructors to ensure smooth practical sessions.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
