- Verify insurance details of patients before admission, surgery, or outpatient procedures.
- Obtain pre-authorizations or approvals from insurance providers when required.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely insurance claims as per the provider’s format and requirements.
- Track and follow up on submitted claims until they are processed and payments are received.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance approvals, claims status, and patient insurance details.
- Ensure compliance with all insurance guidelines, policies, and documentation standards.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, hospital departments, and insurance companies.
- Educate patients on their insurance coverage, co-payments, and financial responsibilities.
