We are looking for an experienced SAS IFRS Consultant to assess, optimize, and support IFRS17 actuarial and finance systems , with a strong focus on CSM processing, calculation models, and SAS-based platforms .
The role involves evaluating end-to-end IFRS17 calculation processes, identifying performance and control gaps, and recommending optimization and modernization strategies .

Assess SAS-based IFRS17 calculation systems , including:
CSM (Contractual Service Margin) processing
Actuarial outputs and model execution
Performance and system dependencies
Review SAS IFRS calculation processes , including:
CSM run logic and actuarial computations
SLAM / sub-ledger and reconciliation dependencies
Model input/output data flows
Analyze execution logs, batch runs, and process controls to identify:
Performance bottlenecks
Failures and manual interventions
Control gaps and inefficiencies
Evaluate reconciliation and accounting integration flows across actuarial outputs, sub-ledger, and GL systems
Identify optimization opportunities in:
Model execution
Processing time and performance
Automation and control frameworks
Recommend retain / optimize / modernize strategies for SAS IFRS platforms
Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and data teams to validate findings and align on improvements
Support root cause analysis (RCA) for issues related to:
Calculation mismatches
Data inconsistencies
Performance degradation
Provide inputs into IFRS17 transformation and modernization programs
Document analysis, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders

Strong expertise in:
SAS (Base SAS, SAS DI, SAS IFRS17 solutions preferred)
SAS Risk / Finance Workbench
Experience in:
IFRS17 calculation engines and actuarial systems

Valuable understanding of:
Batch processing and model execution frameworks
Domain Expertise
Hands-on experience in:
IFRS17 implementation or support
Insurance finance and actuarial processes
Strong understanding of:
CSM calculations
Sub-ledger (SLAM) and general ledger (GL) integration
IFRS17 reporting and reconciliation processes
