Job Title: Student Admission Counsellor / Advisor
Location: ITEKSUL, Shastri Nagar, Pune
Reports To: Founder / Director / Manager

Job Overview

The Student Admission Counsellor / Advisor is responsible for guiding students in selecting suitable programs, facilitating a smooth admissions process, addressing queries, and maintaining accurate records. The counsellor serves as an essential connection between students, faculty, and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Academic and Program Advising

1. Conduct individual counselling sessions (in-person or telephonic) to understand student needs, provide guidance on class schedules, program structure and recommend appropriate courses or programs.

2. Assist through the admission and enrollment procedures.

- Liaison and Coordination

1. Act as a bridge between students, faculty, and administrative staff.

2. Address and resolve student concerns.

- Record Keeping and Reporting

1. Maintain accurate and updated records of student interactions.

2. Prepare periodic reports for management review.

3. Ensure compliance with institutional policies.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education

1.



Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (mandatory).

- Experience

1. Prior experience in student counselling or customer-facing roles is an advantage.

- Skills & Competencies

1. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

2. Strong active listening and interpersonal abilities.

3. Good organizational and time-management skills.

4. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

5. Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

6. Proficiency in multiple languages is a solid advantage.

7. Comfortable working with software tools, CRM systems, databases, and communication platforms.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pune, Maharashtra (Pune, Pune District): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
