Key Responsibilities

Hostel Administration

- Oversee daily hostel operations including admissions, room allocation, and maintenance.
- Maintain updated records of all residents including personal and emergency contact details.
- Ensure adherence to hostel rules and regulations by all residents.

Safety & Security

- Implement safety protocols including fire safety and emergency procedures.
- Monitor entry/exit logs and manage visitor access in coordination with security staff.
- Coordinate with campus security and local authorities as needed.

Student Welfare

- Act as the first point of contact for all student-related issues within the hostel.
- Foster a healthy and supportive workplace conducive to student well-being and academic performance.
- Organize regular meetings with residents for feedback and suggestions.

Discipline and Conflict Resolution

- Enforce discipline and investigate any issues or complaints raised by students.
- Address conflicts and resolve disputes among residents fairly and diplomatically.
- Report serious incidents to the higher authorities and maintain proper documentation.

Facility Management

- Monitor the cleanliness and maintenance of rooms, common areas, bathrooms, etc.
- Liaise with housekeeping, catering,



and maintenance staff for smooth functioning.
- Ensure timely repairs, pest control, and other essential services.

Staff Supervision

- Manage hostel support staff including housekeepers and maintenance personnel.

Communication & Reporting

- Prepare and submit monthly reports on hostel activities, issues, and suggestions.
- Coordinate with academic departments, parents/guardians, and the administrative office as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hostel or educational institution.

Age around 45 to 52 years

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and conflict-resolution abilities
- Organizational and administrative competence
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email)

Other Requirements

- Willingness to stay on campus
- High level of integrity, empathy, and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
