Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Chennai

Experience:5–10 Years, UAE experience is added advantage, not compulsory

Position Level:Mid-Level

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

* Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Electrical Design.

* Proficiency in **AutoCAD** and **Siemens** engineering software (EPLAN Electric P8 is an added advantage).

* Robust knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOM preparation.

* Experience in the **Control Panel Automation** industry is an added advantage.

* Electrical Design certification is an added advantage.

* Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

* Design and develop electrical control panel drawings and schematics.

* Prepare panel layouts, wiring diagrams, SLDs, and BOMs.

* Review customer specifications and technical documents.

* Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams.

* Ensure compliance with IEC/UL standards and project requirements.

* Support manufacturing, testing, and commissioning activities.
