Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Supervisor – Mould Shop to oversee day-to-day moulding
operations in our electrical manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth
production execution, maintaining quality standards, optimizing processes, and supporting the team to achieve
production targets efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute daily production planning in the mould shop to achieve production targets within defined timelines.
2. Monitor machine operations, ensure proper utilization, and minimize downtime through effective coordination with
the maintenance team.
3. Track daily production output and raw material consumption; coordinate with stores for timely material availability.
4. Ensure adherence to process parameters and work instructions to maintain product quality standards.
5. Support process optimization and cycle time reduction initiatives to improve productivity.
6. Coordinate with Tool Room and Engineering teams for trials, recent moulds,



and product development activities.
7. Assist in implementing preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and auxiliaries.
8. Ensure implementation and sustenance of 5S practices on the shop floor.
9. Monitor shop floor safety practices and ensure compliance with HIRA, aspect-impact, and EHS guidelines.
10. Supervise and guide operators, ensuring proper manpower utilization and discipline.
11. Identify training needs of operators and support skill development initiatives.
12. Maintain production records, reports, and MIS for daily performance tracking.
13. Support vendor coordination for outsourced moulding activities, if required.
14. Ensure adherence to quality, productivity, and safety standards in the assigned work area.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes
Hands-on experience with moulding machines and auxiliaries
Basic understanding of maintenance practices
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Team handling and coordination abilities
Knowledge of quality systems and safety practices
