Technical Service Officer – TMT Bars

The Technical Service Officer is responsible for providing technical support to customers, conducting product awareness programs, assisting in project execution, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective technical services. The role involves regular interaction with engineers, architects, contractors, builders, dealers, and project owners to promote the correct application and performance of TMT bars.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

- Provide technical guidance on the application, handling, storage, and usage of TMT bars.
- Visit construction sites to monitor product application and resolve technical issues.
- Support customers in selecting suitable TMT grades based on structural requirements.
- Address product-related complaints and coordinate with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams for timely resolution.
- Prepare technical reports and recommend corrective actions where required.

Site Visits & Project Support

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper reinforcement practices.
- Assist customers during major concreting and reinforcement activities.
- Provide recommendations on bar bending, lap lengths, anchorage, cover, and placement as per applicable standards.




- Support key infrastructure and institutional projects with technical expertise.

Customer Training & Awareness

- Conduct technical seminars, engineer meets, contractor meets, mason training programs, and dealer awareness sessions.
- Deliver presentations on TMT bar features, advantages, and construction best practices.
- Develop technical educational material for customers and channel partners.

Technical Documentation

- Prepare site visit reports, technical service reports, and monthly activity reports.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, training programs, and complaint resolutions.
- Support the preparation of technical manuals, product literature, and application guides.

Qualification

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred).

Experience

- 6–8 years of experience in Technical Services, Quality, Site Engineering, or Technical Support in TMT Steel, Cement, Ready-Mix Concrete, Construction Chemicals, or Building Materials.

Preferred Industry: TMT Steel, Cement,Building Materials.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
