ABOUT THE INSTITUTION

Nilachal Polytechnic College of Engineering is a premier technical institution located in Bhubaneswar (near KIIT University, Sikharchandi Temple & Infocity Police Station), dedicated to academic excellence, rigorous mathematical training, and practical engineering foundation. The Department of Mathematics invites applications from energetic and highly qualified educators for the positions of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor to teach Engineering Mathematics in our B.Tech and Diploma programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Academic Teaching: Deliver high-quality lectures in Engineering Mathematics (e.g., Differential Equations, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Numerical Methods, Probability & Statistics, Discrete Mathematics) for B.Tech students.
- Curriculum & Pedagogy: Prepare detailed course plans, lecture notes, tutorial problems, and assignment modules aligned with university syllabi.
- Evaluation & Assessment: Conduct mid-term exams, unit tests, tutorial evaluations, assign internal marks, and assist in end-semester exam evaluations.
- Student Mentorship: Guide engineering students in problem-solving techniques, remedial classes, and academic counseling.
- Departmental Duties: Participate in departmental administrative work, accreditation processes,



and academic committees.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Education: M.Sc. in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics with relevant teaching experience. Ph.D. in Mathematics is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Teaching experience in engineering colleges (B.Tech level) is highly desirable. Candidates applying for Associate Professor must possess substantial academic experience.
- Joining Availability: Immediate Joiner required.
- Core Skills: Deep subject expertise in core and applied engineering mathematics.
- Communication: Excellent classroom presentation skills and fluency in English and Odia.
