About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations for a workforce of 500+ employees. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of payroll processing, statutory compliance, taxation, and payroll controls. Candidates with prior experience in the NBFC or BFSI sector will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for 1000+ employees with complete accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll-related statutory requirements, including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Labour Laws, and other applicable regulations.
- Handle full & final settlements, bonus, leave encashment, incentives, reimbursements, and variable pay.
- Process payroll inputs such as attendance, leaves, salary revisions, promotions, and new joiners/exits.
- Reconcile payroll reports and coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement and accounting entries.
- Ensure compliance with income tax provisions, Form 16 generation, and employee tax declarations.




- Respond to employee payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain payroll records with high standards of confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Continuously strengthen payroll processes, controls, and compliance mechanisms.

Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 1–2 years of relevant payroll experience.
- Hands-on experience in managing payroll for 500+ employees.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, statutory compliances, taxation, and payroll best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with solid attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll/HRMS software.
- Experience in the NBFC/BFSI sector will be preferred.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
