About the Role

Aharada Education is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Department (HOD) – Management to lead the Management Department at IIMT University, Meerut. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic leadership, administrative expertise, research excellence, and the ability to build industry-academia collaborations.

The HOD will be responsible for academic planning, faculty development, student success, accreditation activities, curriculum enhancement, and the overall growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the Management Department.
- Plan, implement, and monitor departmental academic activities.
- Lead curriculum development in line with NEP 2020, industry requirements, and university guidelines.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate Management courses (BBA, MBA, B.Com, etc.).
- Mentor faculty members and oversee workload allocation and performance.
- Promote research, publications, consultancy projects, and innovation among faculty and students.
- Build robust industry partnerships for internships, live projects, guest lectures, and placements.
- Ensure quality standards for NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and other accreditation requirements.
- Monitor student academic progress, mentoring, discipline, and overall development.
- Organize seminars, conferences, workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and industrial visits.
- Coordinate admissions, examinations, timetables, and departmental budgeting.
- Participate in university committees and strategic academic initiatives.
- Drive student placement activities in collaboration with the Training & Placement Cell.
- Prepare departmental reports and ensure compliance with UGC and university regulations.

Qualifications

- Ph.D.



in Management or a relevant discipline (Mandatory).
- MBA/PGDM with First Class from a recognized university.
- Qualifications should be as per UGC/AICTE norms.

Experience

- Minimum 5** years** of teaching experience in higher education.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in an academic leadership role such as HOD, Program Coordinator.
- Proven experience in departmental administration, accreditation, curriculum development, and faculty management.
- Strong record of research publications in peer-reviewed or Scopus/UGC CARE-listed journals.
- Experience in guiding postgraduate research projects and dissertations.
