Job Overview

IMP Engineering & Power Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Crane Erection Supervisor to oversee the safe assembly, dismantling, and commissioning of crawler, tower, and mobile cranes at project sites. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of heavy lifting operations, rigging techniques, crane components, and erection procedures while ensuring strict compliance with safety standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the complete erection, dismantling, and commissioning of heavy cranes as per OEM guidelines.
- Lead and manage rigging teams during crane assembly and lifting operations.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and erection crews to ensure secure and efficient execution.
- Plan and supervise lifting activities, including the selection and inspection of slings, shackles, spreader beams, and other lifting accessories.
- Ensure all lifting operations comply with approved lifting plans, load charts, and statutory safety regulations.
- Inspect crane components before assembly and ensure proper alignment, torqueing, and installation.
- Coordinate with client representatives, project engineers,



and site management throughout the erection process.
- Conduct pre-job safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments before commencement of work.
- Monitor daily progress, maintain erection records, and prepare activity reports.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, lifting standards, and quality requirements.

Qualification

Candidates should possess an ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Certification in Rigging, Lifting Operations, or Crane Safety will be considered an added advantage.
