General Technician (GTM) – Engineering Department

Job Summary

Oshin Hotels is looking for a skilled and reliable General Technician (GTM) to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient workplace for guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and facilities.
- Attend and resolve maintenance complaints promptly.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Carry out minor civil, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
- Replace light fixtures, fittings, and damaged components as required.
- Monitor and maintain STP/WTP systems and related equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and prevent potential issues.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and hotel policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.




- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.

Requirements

- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or commercial buildings.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
