Embedded Systems Developer – IoT Centre of Excellence (IoT CoE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Embedded Systems Developer to join our IoT Centre of Excellence (IoT CoE). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying embedded and IoT-based solutions while collaborating with faculty, students, and industry partners on innovative research and product development projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for microcontroller- and microprocessor-based embedded systems.
- Develop applications using Embedded C/C++ for platforms such as ARM Cortex, AVR, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and similar embedded hardware.
- Interface sensors, actuators, communication modules, and peripheral devices.
- Implement, integrate, and debug communication protocols including UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, Zigbee, and MQTT.
- Integrate embedded hardware with cloud platforms and IoT dashboards.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, testing, system validation, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate on industry-sponsored projects, research initiatives, prototype development, and product realization.
- Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and project reports.




- Mentor students working on embedded systems and IoT projects and support laboratory activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Embedded Systems and Microcontroller Programming.
- Proficiency in Embedded C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with embedded development tools and debugging techniques.
- Good understanding of hardware interfaces and communication protocols.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with RTOS.
- Knowledge of PCB design, hardware debugging, and electronic test instruments.
- Familiarity with Linux-based embedded systems and scripting.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications in embedded systems will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
