We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and responsible individual to supervise and manage the day-to-day upkeep of office, residential, and other properties at various locations in Srinagar. The role involves property supervision, maintenance coordination, construction-related follow-ups, management of a small support team, and professional coordination with contractors, tenants, service providers, government departments, and other third parties.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise office, residential, and other properties at different locations.
Oversee general housekeeping, cleanliness, security, repairs, and routine maintenance.
Coordinate construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance work at various sites.
Monitor the work of labourers, contractors, technicians, vendors, and service providers.
Manage and guide a small team of caretakers, housekeeping staff, helpers, and maintenance workers.
Ensure that assigned work is completed properly, on time, and according to instructions.
Coordinate professionally with tenants, neighbours, contractors, officials, and other third parties regarding property-related matters.
Assist in handling third-party involvement, unauthorised interference, access concerns, or other property-related issues through proper coordination and timely reporting.
Follow up with government departments, municipal offices, utility providers, banks, contractors, and other organisations when required.
Assist with matters relating to electricity, water supply, repairs, documentation, construction permissions, property records, and other official follow-ups.
Keep records of maintenance work, expenses, bills, materials, contractors, payments, and pending tasks.
Arrange or purchase maintenance and construction materials when authorised.
Regularly inspect properties and identify maintenance, safety, security, or housekeeping issues.
Provide timely updates regarding ongoing work, property conditions, and pending matters.
Ensure that all properties remain safe, secure, organised, functional, and well maintained.
Handle urgent property-related matters responsibly when required.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in property supervision, facilities management, construction supervision, caretaking, housekeeping supervision, estate management, or a similar role.
Experience managing workers, contractors, vendors, or a small support team.
Basic understanding of construction, repairs, plumbing, electrical work, maintenance, and general property upkeep.
Ability to supervise multiple locations and travel locally when required.
Good communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to deal respectfully, professionally, and firmly with workers, contractors, tenants, officials, and third parties.
Familiarity with government offices and local administrative procedures will be preferred.
Ability to maintain basic records, bills, receipts, expense details, and work updates.
Honest, disciplined, dependable, and capable of working independently.
Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of responsibility and trustworthiness.
Good knowledge of Srinagar and surrounding areas will be an advantage.
