- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing (Essential)

Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of ICU or Critical Care nursing experience
- Freshers may be considered after ICU orientation and competency assessment
Job Summary
The ICU Staff Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and life-support interventions. The nurse ensures patient safety, infection prevention, medication management, accurate documentation, and compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor critically ill patients and assess clinical status continuously.
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely.
- Operate and monitor ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and other ICU equipment.
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures and resuscitation.
- Maintain strict infection prevention and aseptic techniques.
- Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and family members regarding treatment and recovery.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with ICU protocols and NABH standards.
