Role Objective

To build and manage a centralized procurement function for CG, ensuring cost optimization, vendor

reliability, and timely material availability across multiple projects.

The role will play a key part in strengthening CG’s mission of building carbon-neutral office spaces

through smarter material sourcing and procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Procurement Execution

- Manage procurement of all project materials including:

o Flooring, furniture, partitions, civil & MEP items etc.

- Raise and manage POs, track deliveries, and ensure alignment with project timelines
- Work closely with design and project teams to interpret BOQs and specifications

2. Vendor Sourcing & Ecosystem Building

- Identify, onboard, and develop a solid network of vendors across categories
- Build a preferred vendor database with standardized commercial terms
- Establish long-term partnerships to ensure consistency in quality and pricing

3. Commercial Negotiation & Cost Optimization

- Lead all commercial negotiations with vendors
- Develop benchmark pricing for repeat items across projects
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising design intent or quality

4. Sustainability-Driven Procurement (CORE TO CG)

- Source and evaluate low-carbon,



sustainable, and environmentally responsible materials
- Work closely with the sustainibility team to:

o Capture embodied carbon data for materials

o Compare sustainable alternatives vs conventional options

- Build a vendor base aligned with green certifications and sustainable practices
- Continuously explore innovative materials and solutions that reduce carbon footprint

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Act as a bridge between:

o Design team (material specs)

o Project team (execution timelines)

o Vendors (supply & delivery)

- Ensure procurement decisions align with both design intent and execution feasibility

6. Process Building & System Implementation

- Set up procurement SOPs, approval workflows, and documentation standards
- Implement tracking systems for:

o Orders

o Deliveries

o Vendor performance

- Drive digitization and efficiency in procurement operations

7. Risk Management & Quality Control

- Ensure material quality and compliance with specifications
- Identify supply risks and proactively plan alternatives
- Reduce dependency on single vendors

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
