RESPONSIBILITIES:

Before Operation

1. Collection of equipment and linen for the operation planned.

2. Gowning and Gloving.

3. Drape trolley and towel stand with ----- draper.

4. Collecting -------- ---------- material, needles, blade, mops gauzes and cotton as required and ------------- count record in white board.

5. Drape ------- table and preparing initially required instruments.

6. Checking patient’s identity with the name band, care paper and operation list.

7. Ensure secure positioning of the patient.

8.Check all the instruments is in working condition and it parts

At the commencement of the operation.

1. Handing over skin preparation agents and swabs on holder to the surgeon for the final preparation.

2. Assisting in draping.

3. Positioning ---- table.

4. Arrange diathermy and suction.

5. Hand over instrument, swabs and ----- to the surgeon as necessary.

6.



Keep an accurate count of extra instruments and swabs collected during the operation and ensure that they are charted by circulator.

7. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon.

8. Ensure adequate discipline and minimum disturbance within the theatre.

At the end of the operation.

1. Confirming that all instruments, swabs and mops are accounted for.

2. Remove instruments from mayo table.

3. Collect dressing from the circulator.

4. Disposed of blades & needles into appropriate containers.

5. Removing drapes.

6. Ensure that the preoperative area is cleaned.

7. Ensure that the patient gown is clean and dry.

8. Cover the patient with a clean sheet.

9. Returning instruments for washing and sterilization.

10. Complete entries in the operation register.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
