Job Description – Junior Accountant

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to assist in daily accounting and financial activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining records, preparing reports, and supporting the accounts team.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting records and entries.
- Handle invoices, bills, and payment records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Maintain Excel sheets and accounting documents.
- Support GST, TDS, and other basic accounting work.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for payment-related matters.

Requirements

- Graduate in Commerce or related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.




- Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of Tally Prime or other accounting software.
- Ability to handle records and documentation efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and grow in accounts field.

Experience

- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience preferred.
