What are we looking for?

The incumbent will be responsible for leading a team to meet and exceed National Pension System (NPS) Annuity & Government Funds targets within a designated region. This role requires a professional with a strong background in retail sales and team management, who can drive business growth, cultivate key relationships, and ensure operational excellence.

What does the job entail?

Target Achievement: Attain and surpass sales targets for NPS Annuity & Government Funds by effectively managing and motivating a team.

Market Leadership: Conduct thorough market analysis and mapping to identify and secure business opportunities within government, state, defense, paramilitary, police, and central autonomous body sectors.

Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing clients and intermediaries. Serve as the primary liaison between external clients and internal departments, including operations, human resources, and actuarial services.

Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement strategic action plans to improve channel profitability, manage a robust sales pipeline, and execute projects aligned with annual corporate objectives.





Team Development & Compliance: Foster a culture of compliance with company policies and oversee the professional development of team members to minimize attrition and prepare them for future leadership roles.

Work Experience

A minimum of 8 to 15 years of experience is required, with a preference for candidates from the banking and insurance sectors with backgrounds in direct sales, agency, bancassurance, or government/defense/paramilitary sales.

Essential Qualification

A bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement; a postgraduate degree is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

Retail Sales & Business Development: At least 4 years of team-handling experience.

Goal-Oriented: Ability and drive to meet tight deadlines and manage customer expectations.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, people management, and relationship-building skills.

Communication: Good presentation skills and existing social capital within Government, State, Defense, Paramilitary, Police, and Central Autonomous Bodies.

Collaboration: A good collaborator with solid multi-tasking abilities.
