Role: Cardiac Anesthesiologist – CTICU
Department: Cardiac Anaesthesia / Cardiothoracic ICU
Location: Meridian Hospital, Kolathur, Chennai
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in Cardiac Anaesthesia preferred
Qualification: MD/DNB/DM in Anesthesiology with experience in Cardiac/CTICU care

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer anesthesia during cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve replacements, and other cardiothoracic procedures.
- Provide perioperative and post-operative care in the CTICU.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to complications during and after surgery.
- Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.




- Be available for on-call duties as per the hospital’s cardiac emergency protocols.

Skills Required:

- In-depth knowledge of cardiac physiology and cardiopulmonary bypass techniques.
- Proficiency in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) is an added advantage.
- Ability to handle critical care scenarios in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
