R&D; (Research & Development) Executive – Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct research and develop new products, formulations, and applications as per business requirements.
- Perform product trials, testing, and validation to ensure quality and performance standards.
- Improve existing products by optimizing formulations, processes, and cost efficiency.
- Develop product prototypes and evaluate their feasibility for commercial production.
- Prepare and maintain formulation records, trial reports, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Sales teams for product development and commercialization.
- Analyze raw materials and identify suitable alternatives to improve product quality and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding product applications and performance.
- Investigate product complaints and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, recent technologies, ingredients, and regulatory changes.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments.




- Support scale-up activities from laboratory trials to commercial production.
- Maintain confidentiality of research data, formulations, and intellectual property.
- Prepare technical presentations, product specifications, and development reports for management.
- Candidates must have sound knowledge of cake ingredients, cake formulations, and baking applications. Knowledge of food enzymes and their applications is also mandatory.

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of cake formulations, baking ingredients, and bakery applications.
- Good understanding of food enzymes and their industrial applications.
- Knowledge of food ingredients, product development, and quality standards.
