Job Summary

International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT), Bhopal is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to assist prospective students in understanding our academic programs and guide them through the admission process. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, eligibility, career opportunities, and the admission process.
- Respond to inquiries received through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and online platforms.
- Conduct follow-up calls and maintain regular communication with prospective students.
- Schedule and coordinate counselling sessions, campus visits, and admission appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Meet admission and counselling targets while maintaining a professional and student-centric approach.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
- Participate in educational events, seminars, exhibitions, and outreach activities when required.




- Prepare daily and weekly counselling reports for management.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the student admission journey.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree is a plus).
- 0–3 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, sales, customer service, or a similar role.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.

- Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities.
- Good presentation and convincing skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and maintain accurate records.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the education or training industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of digital communication platforms is a plus.
