Key Responsibilities:

Sampling & Testing of Raw Materials (RMs), In-Process Materials (IPMs), and Finished Goods (FGs) – powders, tablets, capsules, and liquids.

Conduct macronutrient analysis:

Protein (e.g., Kjeldahl/Dumas method)

Fat (e.g., Soxhlet extraction or gravimetric methods)

Carbohydrate (by calculation or direct testing as applicable)

Perform routine physicochemical tests (e.g., pH, moisture, ash, bulk density, viscosity, disintegration, dissolution, assay).

Conduct instrumental analysis using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, HPLC, FTIR, etc.

Ensure method validation and calibration of lab instruments as per SOP.

Carry out stability testing and shelf-life estimation of finished products.

Prepare and maintain all QC documentation: COAs, logbooks, analytical records, raw data, and reports.

Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and FSSAI, AYUSH, or WHO regulatory standards.

Support regulatory audits, including documentation and sample analysis.

Coordinate with QA, Production, and R&D; for timely release and troubleshooting.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong practical knowledge of Protein, Fat & Carbohydrate testing





Experience with analytical instruments and wet chemistry methods

Sound understanding of nutraceutical testing protocols and regulatory norms

Proficient in documentation and compliance

Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, any LIMS software)

Ability to work independently and in a cooperative environment

Preferred Candidates:

Experience in testing food or nutraceutical products

Exposure to regulatory inspections (FSSAI, USFDA, WHO-GMP, etc.)

Candidates residing near Mohali preferred
