Position Summary

The Subject Counsellor supports the Senior faculty in delivering effective classroom instruction, reinforcing mathematical concepts, assisting students in achieving academic excellence, and maintaining a disciplined, engaging, and student-centered learning environment. The role involves classroom assistance, doubt clarification, assessment support, and academic coordination.

Key ResponsibilitiesClassroom Support

· Assist the Senior Teacher in conducting classroom instruction for Classes VI–X.

· Support lesson delivery by reinforcing subject concepts through guided practice.

· Provide individual and small-group academic support to students requiring additional assistance.

· Ensure active student participation and classroom discipline.

Academic Support

· Assist in preparing worksheets, assignments, question banks, and practice materials.

· Conduct revision sessions and doubt-clearing classes under faculty guidance.





· Support students in developing logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

· Assist in preparing students for school examinations, Olympiads, and competitive assessments.

Assessment & Evaluation

· Assist in conducting class tests, assignments, and internal assessments.

· Support evaluation of answer scripts, worksheets, and student performance records.

· Maintain accurate academic records and assist in tracking student progress.

· Share observations regarding student performance with the Subject Teacher.

Classroom Management

· Ensure classroom readiness before every session.

· Organize teaching aids, learning resources, and digital content.

· Maintain discipline and encourage a positive learning environment.

Student Mentoring

· Motivate students to develop confidence and interest in Subject.

· Provide additional academic support to slow learners as directed.

· Encourage regular practice and effective study habits.

Co-Curricular & School Activities

· Assist in organizing Subject-related activities, quizzes, exhibitions, and competitions.

· Support school events, examinations, assemblies, and academic initiatives as assigned.

Administrative Responsibilities

· Maintain attendance records and academic documentation.

· Assist in preparing examination materials and reports.

· Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development initiatives.

QualificationsEducational Qualification

· Bachelor’s Degree in Subject or a related discipline (Mandatory).

· B.Ed. preferred.

Experience

· 0–2 years of teaching or academic support experience in Subject preferred.

· Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Pay: From ₹23,000.00 per month
