Renumeration: As per market standard

- Should have good product knowledge and costing knowledge.
- Should have ability to follow up through the entire merchandising process from development to shipping.
- Should have ability to coordinate with design, PD & vendors for sample developments.
- Should be able to liaison with vendors and coordinate development & sample costing as per the buyer’s requirements.
- Manage order specifications, costing, price negotiation with suppliers.
- Timely order follow up with vendors as per the T & A and maintaining data files accurately for status review.
- Work closely with the Planning /Compliance/QA Teams to place and monitor progress of the orders




- Work with Logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and deliveries.

Profile and skills required:

- Positive Product Knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to understand the different markets and secure customer’s confidence
- Must be very proficient in MS office including in-depth knowledge of excel and power point.
- Previous buying office experience is a plus.
- Must have handled woven and knits categories for both Domestic and International brands/retailers.
