Job Description:
Position Overview: As an Intern in Insilico Team at Quantumzyme, you will engage in various
bioinformatics and computational biology projects. This role provides a valuable opportunity to gain
hands-on experience and contribute to scientific research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grasp the requirements of the project.
- Assist team members in delivering results and reports on time.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
- Conduct independent literature searches to extract meaningful information.
- Represent complex data with proper analysis and visualization.
- Be adaptable and willing to work with different technologies.
Required Skill:
- Basic understanding of protein structure, enzyme function, molecular interactions and organic
chemistry.
- Familiarity with molecular docking and/or molecular dynamics concepts.
- Working knowledge in Python/Shell (Bash) scripting.
- Experience with small-molecule docking using Autodock and Autodock Vina.
- Experience in molecular visualization tools (PyMOL, VMD, Chimera).
- Valuable communication and ability to collaborate with both insilico and invitro scientists.
Additional Skill:
- Experience with Gromacs/OpenMM.
Qualifications:
- M.Tech /M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/Computational biology/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering.
Duration:
- 6+ months
