Job Summary

The Engineering Executive will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of all engineering systems, production equipment, and utility services within the Hormone Plant. The role involves maintaining critical engineering controls, minimizing equipment downtime, supporting uninterrupted production, and ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards specific to hormone manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure smooth functioning and maintenance of all plant machinery, production equipment, and utility systems within the Hormone Plant.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and avoid production interruptions.
- Monitor and maintain critical utilities such as HVAC systems, AHUs, chillers, compressors, purified water systems, boilers, and generators.
- Ensure engineering controls for containment, pressure differentials, air handling, and cross-contamination prevention in hormone manufacturing areas.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Validation teams for maintenance planning and equipment readiness.
- Support installation, commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ),



and validation of new equipment and utility systems.
- Maintain engineering documentation including maintenance logs, calibration schedules, SOPs, and equipment history records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and regulatory requirements applicable to hormone manufacturing facilities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for AMC, repairs, and procurement of engineering spare parts.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, energy efficiency, and cost reduction through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance assessments.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in tablet manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry.

Required Skills

- Experience in tablet manufacturing equipment such as granulation, compression, coating, blister packing, and related utility systems
- Strong knowledge of engineering maintenance and utility management
- Understanding of HVAC, containment systems, and cleanroom operations
- Equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of GMP, EHS, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements
- Preventive maintenance planning and execution
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Valuable communication and cross-functional coordination abilities

Preferred Experience

- Prior exposure to Hormone manufacturing facilities with understanding of containment systems and cross-contamination control
- Experience in equipment qualification, validation, and preventive maintenance

Pay: ₹162,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
