Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) of mechanical components or assemblies. The role involves ensuring that finished products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) of finished products as per approved inspection plans.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using standard measuring instruments.
- Verify product compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming products.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Stores departments for inspection clearance.
- Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation.
- Ensure proper product identification, traceability, and inspection status before dispatch.
- Verify packing quality, labeling, and dispatch readiness.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Maintain calibration awareness while using measuring instruments.




- Follow ISO 9001 quality procedures and company safety requirements.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T; fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Indicator, and Thread Gauges.
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with quality documentation and inspection reports.
- Understanding of NCR, CAPA, and basic quality control concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in automotive, casting, machining, fabrication, sheet metal, or industrial manufacturing.
- Exposure to customer inspection requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Basic understanding of PPAP, 7 QC Tools, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Quality Inspection or Pre-Dispatch Inspection.
- Ability to read engineering drawings independently.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Positive attitude with attention to detail.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
