Accessibility Tester

4+ years of experience in Accessibility Testing (Certification is mandatory with hands-on exp)

Must Required Skills in KEYWORDS:

- Strong hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools, including ZoomText and Dragon Naturally Speaking.
- Proficiency in using mobile accessibility features, including VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android).
- Valuable understanding of UK Disability Act and European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements and their application in digital accessibility testing.
- Awareness of various disability types and a sound understanding of how disabilities impact user interactions with digital products and services.
- Experience working closely with Project Managers (PMs) and cross-functional project teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Possession of relevant IAAP Certifications, such as CPACC, WAS, or CPWA, is highly preferred.

- Proficiency in using mobile accessibility, including built-in accessibility features (iOS) (Android).
- Good understanding of UK Disability Act and European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements, Section 508 and their application in digital accessibility testing.
- Awareness of various disability types and a sound understanding of how disabilities impact user interactions with digital products and services.
- Experience working closely with Project Managers (PMs) and cross-functional project teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Possession of relevant IAAP Certifications, such as CPACC, WAS, or CPWA, is highly preferred.
- Manual Testing experience to WCAG standards is key.

It is highly unlikely that an experienced tester would not have the experience required of using all 3 testing tools (JAWS, Dragon, ZoomText). Please, during screening conversations, check this... if they don't have the experience of using these tools then please don't put them through to the next stage.
