- Minimum Five (5) years of experience managing or implementing enterprise EMC and IBM SAN & NAS environments.
- Storage Migration experience using EMC Recoverpoint and XIV Replication
- One or more of the following: EMC ExtremIO, EMC Centera or EMC Isilon
- Multivendor experience (e.g. EMC, Hitachi, Netapp, Dell, HP, etc.)
- Minimum five years IT infrastructure engineering experience
- Design, deploy, and manage block (FC, FCOE, iSCSI) and file (NFS, CIFS) storage for a virtual server setting with 250+ VMs
- Proficient at managing through either a GUI or command line
- Comfortable with scripting
- SAN refresh and migration experience
- Handson storage installation and cabling experience
- Experience with storage capacity and performance analysis and implementation
- Working knowledge of networking (troubleshooting connectivity at array, host, & hypervisor level)
- Configuration of zoning using Cisco fabric switches




- Seamlessly extend storage LUNs and volumes without system downtime
- Able to support high availability and business critical infrastructure
- Ability to communicate and present ideas to technical staff and management concisely desired
- Experience with storage virtualization technologies (VPLEX, SVC, HDS, VSAN)
- EMC VMAX, VNX expertise
- Past telecommuting background
- Strong passion for getting things done
- Storage certifications
- Cisco UCS and/or converged compute/storage/network solutions
- Heterogeneous/Cross Vendor storage migrations
- Enterprise backup & archiving experience with one or more of the following : Data Domain, Avamar, Networker, Commvault, Symantec, Tivoli
- VMware 5.x design, management, & implementation
- Consulting experience
