Role Overview

Quadrantech is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in software testing, quality engineering practices, and Agile delivery, with hands-on expertise in Tosca Automation as a mandatory skill.

In addition to Tosca, candidates with knowledge of or hands-on exposure to Playwright will be preferred. The role requires active contribution across manual testing, automation, API testing, defect management, and overall quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Experience Required

- Overall Experience: 4+ Years
- Manual Testing Experience: Minimum 2+ Years
- Automation Testing Experience: Minimum 2+ Years
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments is mandatory

Must-Have Skills

Manual Testing

- Strong experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution
- Hands-on experience in:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- End-to-End Testing

- Defect tracking and validation experience

Automation Testing

- Hands-on experience in Tosca Automation is mandatory
- Knowledge of or hands-on exposure to Playwright is preferred
- Understanding of automation framework concepts and reusable test design practices

API & Database Testing

- Hands-on experience in API Testing
- Experience using Postman / Insomnia




- Ability to validate request / response payloads
- Basic SQL query writing and data validation experience

Agile Delivery

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
- Participation in sprint ceremonies, test planning, execution, and release validation activities

Good-to-Have Skills

- Playwright with TypeScript and POM framework exposure
- Rest Assured / API automation exposure
- Jenkins / CI-CD exposure
- Azure DevOps / Git version control
- BrowserStack / Cross-browser testing
- Accessibility testing using NVDA
- Test automation framework maintenance / enhancement

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business and functional requirements
- Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test data
- Execute manual and automated test cases
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Tosca
- Support automation activities in Playwright wherever applicable
- Perform API testing and backend validation activities
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects through closure
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint-level QA activities
- Contribute to release readiness, test coverage, and overall product quality
