We are looking for a skilled CNC Laser Machine Operator with 2–5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring accurate cutting of metal sheets, maintaining machine performance, and meeting production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Laser Cutting Machines for sheet metal fabrication.
- Set up machines as per production drawings and work orders.
- Load and unload raw materials safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and cutting layouts.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure accurate dimensions and quality.
- Perform machine parameter settings and basic program selection.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments.
- Conduct routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Report machine breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team.
- Maintain production records and daily machine reports.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping in the work area.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with CNC Laser Cutting Machines.
- Ability to read fabrication and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine settings.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or related trade.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating CNC Laser Cutting Machines.
- Experience in Automation Manufacturing, Fabrication, Engineering, or Sheet Metal Industries is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of nesting software.
- Experience with CNC Fiber Laser Machines.
- Understanding of production planning and quality standards.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.
