At The Out Factory, we design and manufacture premium yurts and modular structures from India for clients across the world. Our work combines architecture, engineering, prefabrication, and product design to create transportable, modular, and experience-driven spaces.

We are looking for a Structural Engineer who enjoys experimentation, modular thinking, and hands-on product development.

Role Responsibilities

- Design & develop structural systems for new prefab and modular structures
- Work on structural stability, lightweight construction, and modular detailing
- Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for yurt systems and components
- Conduct wind load, live load, dead load, uplift, and lateral stability analysis
- Develop modular breakdowns for yurt platforms, overhangs, decks, wall systems, and structural connections
- Optimize structures for manufacturing, shipping, and installation
- Collaborate with architecture, design, and production teams




- Explore and test new materials and construction methods

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural/Mechanical Engineering
- Valuable understanding of structural systems and load behavior
- Experience with FEA and structural analysis software
- Interest in prefab construction, modular architecture, and product development
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detailing and buildability
- Experience with tools like ANSYS, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar software is a plus

Salary

Salary will be based on industry standards, experience, and technical capability.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
