Job Title: Accountant – Construction Industry

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, handling project-related accounts, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate books of accounts and record daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and process vendor bills, purchase invoices, and customer invoices.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Maintain project-wise accounting records and track project expenses.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks as required.
- Process employee reimbursements and support payroll-related activities.




- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and budget reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist management with financial analysis and cost control.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Valuable analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in project accounting and contractor/vendor billing.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and cost tracking.
- Knowledge of ERP software is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
