Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with 4 to 5 years of solid experience in core accounting, specifically skilled in using QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) or Xero. In this role, you will be handling complete accounting processes, financial reporting, and reconciliations for US-based clients/operations.

Because this position supports US business hours, working in a night shift from our Naraina office is a mandatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Accounting & Software Operations

- Manage daily accounting, ledger entries, and financial workflows in QuickBooks Online/Desktop or Xero.
- Perform complex bank, credit card, and merchant account (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) reconciliations regularly.
- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows, including invoice approvals, vendor payments, and payment tracking.

2. Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

- Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes independently.
- Prepare accurate financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements).
- Conduct variance analysis and account reviews to maintain clean general ledgers.

3. Payroll & Tax Compliance (US)





- Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation of payroll software entries with the general ledger.
- Compile financial data needed for tax filing preparations (e.g., 1099s, sales tax calculations, year-end packages).

4. Process & Integrations

- Utilize connected third-party add-ons (such as Dext, Hubdoc, Bill.com) integrated with QuickBooks/Xero to automate transaction processing.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 4 to 5 years of hands-on working experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
- Software Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) or Xero is mandatory.
- Shift Alignment: Comfort and commitment to working fixed US shift hours (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM or 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM).
- Location: Ability to commute to our office in Naraina, New Delhi.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master’s (M.Com/MBA Finance).
- Language Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills (to liaise with US teams/clients).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced functions: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
