Café Khoblu is a thoughtfully curated café in Sanjauli, Shimla, known for its artistic atmosphere and focus on high-quality food and beverages. Our team is passionate about good coffee, well-plated continental food, and creating a consistent and smooth kitchen operation.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Barista with at least one year of experience in preparing coffee-based and non-coffee beverages. The candidate will be a part of our Continental and Beverage section and will work closely with the Continental commis to ensure seamless beverage and plate service from the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and café-style cold drinks to standard
- Maintain beverage station cleanliness, organization, and hygiene as per FSSAI standards
- Assist with mise-en-place and basic prep related to beverages (e.g., syrups, garnishes, smoothies)




- Work in coordination with the Continental commis to ensure timely service and plating
- Monitor inventory and alert the supervisor when stock needs replenishing
- Operate coffee machines and maintain them on a regular schedule

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista in a café or restaurant setting
- Familiarity with basic beverage preparation techniques and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes consistently and efficiently
- Strong coordination skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a kitchen environment
- Attention to detail, discipline, and a proactive work ethic

Preferred:

- Basic understanding of continental plating or prior experience working in a multi-section kitchen

Compensation:

Based on experience and skill level
