Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end outsourcing & procurement of machined, fabricated, casted, welded, and assembly components.
- Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for machining, fabrication, castings, and welding work.
- Review engineering drawings, understand welding symbols, GD&T;, material specifications, and quality requirements.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities related to machining, fabrication, casting processes, and welding quality.
- Prepare RFQs, conduct technical & commercial evaluation, negotiate pricing, and finalize POs.
- Ensure timely delivery of outsourced components as per production and project schedules.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams for technical clarification and specification alignment.
- Monitor supplier quality performance, including dimensional inspection reports, material test certificates, and welding quality parameters.
- Handle supplier issues related to rework, rejection, NCR,



and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain procurement MIS, cost comparison sheets, vendor performance tracking, and documentation.

Key Skills Required

- Strong technical knowledge of machining, fabrication, castings, welding processes, and industrial manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, welding symbols, GD&T;, tolerances, and quality parameters.
- Understanding of dimensional inspection, quality checks, and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor development, and vendor management skills.
- Robust experience in ERP systems (SAP / Tally / any).
- Good communication, coordination & documentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines.
