Job Summary

The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations for the e-commerce business, ensuring timely order fulfillment, efficient warehouse coordination, transportation management, and customer satisfaction. The role focuses on optimizing logistics costs, reducing Return-to-Origin (RTO), improving delivery performance, and maintaining seamless coordination with warehouse, customer support, procurement, and courier partners.

Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics Operations

- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer orders across all sales channels.
- Monitor daily order processing, shipment status, and delivery performance.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure smooth picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Ensure adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Courier & 3PL Management

- Manage relationships with courier partners and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Negotiate freight rates, service contracts, and delivery terms.
- Monitor courier performance, delivery timelines, and claim settlements.
- Resolve shipment delays, lost shipments, and damaged goods.

Warehouse Coordination

- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure inventory availability and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory movement and stock transfers between warehouses.
- Ensure proper documentation for inward and outward shipments.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.





Order Fulfillment & Customer Experience

- Ensure same-day or next-day dispatch as per company standards.
- Reduce order cancellations and delivery delays.
- Coordinate with Customer Support to resolve delivery-related customer issues.
- Improve the overall customer delivery experience.

Reverse Logistics

- Manage return, replacement, and Return-to-Origin (RTO) processes.
- Analyze reasons for returns and implement corrective actions.
- Reduce logistics losses through continuous process improvements.

Cost Control & Process Improvement

- Optimize logistics costs without affecting service quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency and warehouse productivity.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Drive automation and technology adoption in logistics operations.

Team Management

- Lead and supervise logistics executives and warehouse coordinators.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Reporting & Analytics

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.
- Track logistics KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Present operational performance reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Experience

- 5–8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an e-commerce, retail, healthcare, or FMCG workplace.
- Experience working with courier aggregators, 3PL providers, and warehouse operations.
