Project Role : Functional Verification Engineer
Project Role Description : Develop and execute testbenches to verify the functional correctness of digital designs at the block and system level. Create constrained-random, directed, and coverage-driven tests using languages like SystemVerilog and UVM. Collaborate with design and architecture teams to identify corner cases and ensure complete functional coverage before tape-out.

Summary:
As a Functional Verification Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing comprehensive test environments to validate the functionality of digital hardware components. This role requires close collaboration with various teams to identify potential edge cases and ensure thorough verification coverage. The engineer continuously refines test strategies and executes simulations to detect and resolve issues early in the development cycle, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of the final product before manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities:





- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to define verification plans and methodologies that align with project goals.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of verification processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews to ensure alignment on verification objectives and deliverables.

- Flash Controller DV
- BootROM Validation
- DDR Subsystem Validation
- Embedded C
- Firmware validation
- Xcelium +UVM
- Driver/Firmware experience
- Debug HW/SW interactions

Must Have Skills:
Proficiency in SoC Verification
