As an Echo Technician at Manipal Hospitals, you will be responsible for conducting echocardiograms to assist in diagnosing heart conditions. Your role involves operating ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring the accuracy of test results. You will play a crucial part in the patient care team by providing detailed imaging that supports the cardiology department.

- Performing transthoracic and other types of echocardiograms as ordered by physicians.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Documenting and reporting findings accurately to assist in patient diagnoses.
- Following hospital protocols and safety standards during all procedures.
- Educating patients about the echocardiogram process, alleviating their concerns before the test.





To succeed in this role – you should have the following:
- A relevant degree or certification in medical imaging or echocardiography.
- Robust technical skills with ultrasound equipment and imaging software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
- Ability to work well in a team workplace and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting.
