Job Description:

We are looking for a Video Editor / Motion Graphics Designer/illustrator, who can deliver projects to a high standard, demonstrating creativity, quality and consistency to join our Media team.

Primarily you will work with the marketing team to design and develop a wide range of print and digital marketing assets for the technology and global services space.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the marketing department and support campaigns with design solutions storyboards, composite and edit videos, animate titles

- Be quick in providing multiple fresh Video layout/design/ Story Boarding iterations that complement, existing art, and design styles.

- Help create, build and enhance the Xoriant brand as we grow

- To be a creative thinker and storyteller who can solve complex design challenges and develop cutting-edge, compelling, original designs that enhance our clients brand across all mediums like print, digital, social media and emerging new media platforms.

- Create highly engaging animations for a variety of media including social media, web, special events, and conferences

- Contribute to all aspects of the project, from initial briefing, through creative process to the final solution

- Manage priorities and workload effectively to meet all schedules and deadlines.

- Continually identify opportunities to create additional value, proactive with ideas and creative solutions

- Communicate effectively with creative services colleagues, internal team and vendors





- Work both independently and collaboratively to design motion graphics that transform complicated concepts into explicit visuals.

- Be responsible for creative output and operational efficiency

- Determines style, technique, and medium best suited to organization promotion strategies

- Awareness of current fashions in the visual arts, working knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design

Duties:

Key Skills and Experience:

- 4-8 years of working experience as a web,graphic designer, illustrator, & Video editing
- Must be able to provide demo reel/portfolio of recent relevant work demonstrating video, motion design and post-production skills.
- Expert in video editing and motion graphics suites, such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Excellent understanding of color, composition, and typography
- Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (designing/creating digital templates, presentations etc.)
- Knowledge (CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, Wordpress, etc.) is a BIG plus
- Knowledge of graphical requirements of social media channels is preferable
- Out of the box creative thinker
- Resourceful, proactive and quick learner
- Good communications skills with ability to work with a variety of remote teams, some internationally located
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or PGDM

Primary Skills: Video Editor/Animation/illustrator

Secondary Skills: Graphic & Web Designer.
